Sometimes, the biggest dreams start quietly, with nothing more than an idea, a feeling or a place that touches the heart.
That's exactly how our journey began. During our time in Cape Town, we were inspired by the sense of calm, joie de vivre, and warm, effortless hospitality of the South Africans. It was these impressions that led us to create our own place, where guests would feel genuinely welcome and at ease. Back in Salzburg, we found the perfect location for our vision: the former Pension Scheck, a villa that felt right from the very first moment.
For the past eight years, we have had the joy of welcoming wonderful guests from around the globe to the Little Guesthouse. Every conversation and encounter is meaningful to us and often inspires new ideas, guiding the thoughtful evolution of our home. We continue to develop our Guesthouse step by step, paying great attention to detail and with a heartfelt desire to create a place where people simply feel at home.
None of this would be possible without our incredible team: Sabine, Lena, Edyta, Nurai, Alejandra and Carolina — and, of course, to our daughter Ella. It is because of you that this place feels so special.
